Prosecutors with Justice Department special counsel Jack Smith’s team will put an indictment to the federal grand jury investigating fat former President Trump’s theft of classified documents from the White House on US Code section 793, which concerns any offense committed in “gathering, transmitting or losing” any “information respecting the national defense” and for obstruction of justice as soon as this Thursday, sources within the Justice Department tell the Independent.
The Independent’s report also says disgraced former Trump White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows has reached a plea agreement in which he will admit to lesser crimes in exchnage for immunity and testify against the Orange God Emperor and holy shit that is very big if true.
The Washington Post separately reports that the indictment will unfortunately be handed down in Florida, as that’s where the bulk of the offenses occurred. Which sucks because not only will it be a friendlier jury pool than in DC but it’s more likely Trump could end up in front that piece of shit federal circuit Judge Aileen Cannon, famous for acting as his defense lawyer during his lawsuit against the government for sending the FBI to raid Mar-a-Lago back last August.
