In their preparations for the upcoming Vice Presidential debates, the staff of Mike Pence has made their choice for the person to represent Kamala Harris, and it’s probably the last person you’d think.
Scott Walker. Yep, that Scott Walker.
The white, male, Protestant college dropout former governor of Wisconsin is taking the podium to portray the biracial, multicultural female US Senator who attended a HBCU as an undergrad and is an alumnus of the University of California law school, according to the Washington Post.
Walker dropped out of the 2016 presidential race before the first primary (and reportedly garnered only one vote throughout the primary season) due to what were generally described as “lackluster” debate performances.
Harris is not only a litigator, but she was also on the highly regarded debate team at Howard University. During the 2020 Democratic primary, Harris was praised for her performance, landing many points against her eventual ticket-mate, Joe Biden.
