In support of their 40-page filing asserting such, prosecutors also noted in a hearing that investigators found cocaine residue on the pouch containing the gun Hunter’s girlfriend ditched in a California trashcan less than two weeks after Hunter bought it. “To be clear, investigators literally found drugs on the pouch where the defendant had kept his gun,” prosecutors said according to Politico.
