The manager of a Napa Valley winery on Monday called up CNN to tell them he remembers Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis paying her $400 bill in cash when she visited last year. “I ran up the thing and I showed her. I was expecting a credit card quite frankly. And she says I’ll pay cash. And so that was that. So then I just put the cash in, made change for her and she was very generous to me,” said Stan Brody, manager at Acumen Wines in Napa, California of the early 2023 visit from Willis and her then-romantic partner, Trump RICO case special prosecutor Nathan Wade.
Brody, who told CNN he’s a “news junkie,” said his memory was jogged last week when he saw Wade and Willis questioned over the DA’s use of cash on her excursions with her deputy during the astonishingly fucking petty bullshit the Orange God Emperor’s minions used to try to throw a wrench in the case that no less than four of their co-defendants have already pleaded guilty to.
“These are really nice people. I treat people at the winery every time… as if you’re sitting in my living room. And they were the kind of people that if I was having a party at my home that I would have invited. That’s what I came away with,” said Brody, who has not spoken to the court or DA yet.
