The Supreme Court refused to hear separate appeals from Trump lawyer who knows how to use hair dye Sidney Powell and election denying ambulance chaser L. Lin Wood who both challenged that federal court sanctions imposed on them for propagating insane vote fraud theories in Michigan involving Venezuela and China, CNN reports.
The pair objected to sanctions placed on them by a US district court after they each pursued appeals to Michigan state sanctions on their law licenses for continuing to pursue completely unsubstantiated claims that Michigan election results were manipulated by foreign governments to deny Donald Trump a victory. In fact, Trump lost the 2020 election by more than seven million votes, and he lost Michigan by 150,000 votes.
Powell faces a slew of criminal and professional sanctions, including pleading guilty in a Fulton County RICO case regarding efforts to disenfranchise all voters in Georgia. After spending months encouraging people to take action–including hinting that he wanted violent acts–to overturn the election, Wood surrendered his law license in Georgia, his home state.
