Nebraska republican Senator Ben Sasse, who attended Saturday’s emerging super-spreader event at the White House Rose Garden, has tested negative for the coronavirus, but will isolate at his Nebraska home, the Washington Post’s Seung Min Kim reports.
Sasse will return to Washington, DC on October 12 for the planned beginning of the Judiciary Committee hearing on the nomination of Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. It was at Barrett’s official nomination where no fewer than five republicans were likely infected with the coronavirus.
