Texas MAGA Congressman Lance Gooden on Thursday was happy to share his insights into the soon-to-be concluded Manhattan pornstar-fucking trial, telling Fox News idiot Maria Bartiromo he doesn’t “think a hung jury is out of the question and boy would it be spectacular.” Intrigued, Bartiromo then asked Gooden to share his thoughts on what, if any, effect being given fully a week off from court from Tuesday until closing arguments next week could have on the jury before they begin deliberating. Gooden then said he “couldn’t begin to speculate on that” before rambling on with the typical rhetorical sucking of his Orange Allah’s balls. Meaning when he said he thinks there’s going to be a hung jury he was actually saying he wants there to be a hung jury.
The “spectacular” also made that quite obvious too. However to indulge this horseshit for just a moment, we want to point out that there’s no evidence to support the belief that the jury will end up deadlocking. It’s actually that absence that sticks out the most here: Try to imagine what the coverage of this trial – with dozens of national reporters in the room – would look like if there was one juror who constantly got upset and offended, was rolling his eyes, falling asleep, making it obvious that he’s a Trump fan and is not taking this seriously. We’d be hearing about this MAGA juror around the clock and everyone would’ve already concluded that the fat fuck defendant is going to escape accountability once again and blah blah blah. That hasn’t happened and everything we’ve seen told us the jurors were engaged and attentive the whole time (except for some parts of the defense’s cross-exams). We’re almost certainly more likely to see an acquittal on the matters of law rather than a mistrial due to the jury being unable to agree on the facts. And in any event, would it really be that “spectacular” for this dipshit if his Allah had to go on trial again in a few months?
On a related note, ABC News reports that a New York Appeals court has tossed the Orange Defendant’s bid to get Judge Juan Merchan to recuse from the case. “Petitioner has failed to establish that the court acted in excess of its jurisdiction by denying his motion. Petitioner also has not established that he has a clear right to recusal,” the order said. Womp fuckin womp.
