Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer on Tuesday said what he should’ve said from day one, calling on DINO Senator Gold Bars Bob Menendez to resign in a statement, Politico reports.
“In light of this guilty verdict, Senator Menendez must now do what is right for his constituents, the Senate, and our country, and resign,” Schumer said following Bob’s conviction on 16 felonies related to bribery and foreign corruption. It’d be cooler if Menendez said no and forced an expulsion vote to put Republicans on the record over whether a convicted felon should be allowed to serve in office.
