Monday could be a little awkward for a Colorado insurance professional who was left behind to die by his coworkers during a team-building hike on Mount Shavano in Chafee County, NPR reports.
The man became disoriented and lost during the hike and the coworkers tried to guide him back to the path as a storm rolled in but eventually they just gave up on the ordeal and went home. “Might cause some awkward encounters at the office in the coming days and weeks,” said an official with Chafee Search and Rescue, who were able to locate the 50-something man and bring him to safety.
