German Chancellor Olaf Schulz’s Social Democrats (SPD) squeaked out a freaking close win against the extremist Alternative for Germany (AfD) Party in Sunday’s Brandenburg state election, with SPD taking 30.9 percent of the vote to AfD’s 29.2 percent, the Berliner reports. Combined with the other two normie parties – the BSW and CDU – the SPD will work to form a coalition to shut out the AfD, but the close finish shows that the rise of the extremist white nationalist party, particularly in eastern Germany’s less wealthy, former communist regions, is probably still just beginning.
