Lying piece of shit and now-convicted felon former Long Island Congressman George Santos took some time off from whatever he’s doing while awaiting sentencing to federal prison to tell Politico Playbook he’s delighted to see his former neighboring district fellow Republican Anthony D’Esposito in a world of shit for having put his sidepiece and his fiancee’s daughter on the payroll for no-show jobs after having suffered the indignity of expulsion that D’Esposito had rallied for last year.
“While he was leading the charge against me and calling me all these things, D’Esposito was actually stealing money from the American people and giving it to benefit his mistress… in a no-show job ploy at the expense of taxpayer dollars. Tell me what that speaks about his character or the sheer hypocrisy of it all,” Santos said, almost as if he’s surprised that an elected Republican would ever publicly rail against corruption and thievery while quietly engaging in it himself. Or at least that one who would go along with the “Biden Crime Family” horseshit would also turn on a fellow Republican.
“What’s really rich is that the people who had the gall and the testicular fortitude to expel me in the most arbitrary way in the history of the body are the very same ones now coming down with all of their misdeeds, corruptions and unethical behavior. So it’s a good opportunity for them. Before they say anything about me, go look at yourself in the mirror,” Santos continued, again talking about D’Esposito and not the larger absolute moral and ethical abyss that defines their party as a whole.
