Starting at 7 p.m. local time/8 p.m. ET, former NFL linebacker and Democratic candidate for Senate Colin Allred takes on Cub-adian Cancun vacationer and podcaster Ted Cruz in a debate for the state’s Senate seat. Because GOP presidential hopeful and convicted felon Donald Trump assumes he’s going to win Texas, he’s put very little effort into campaigning there, leaving Cruz to campaign on his own against the popular and well-funded Allred.
