One ballot dropbox each in both Portland, Oregon and neighboring Vancouver, Washington were torched early Monday morning, KATU reports, with firefighters estimating that hundreds of votes had been lost on the Washington side and an indeterminate number burned on the Oregon side.
It’s not clear if the incidents were connected, but it’d probably be worse if they weren’t.
