Convicted felon former President Trump’s campaign co-manager Susie Wiles on Friday sent out an all-staff email headlined “Donald J Trump Administrative Update,” informing the team of how the rest of the month is going to go, with mostly dry updates on office usage and that everyone’s last day on the payroll is November 30th. What stuck out to Axios and whoever leaked it to them was the very un-MAGA verbiage such as “should we be victorious,” “regardless of the outcome of the election,” and “God willing” to describe the contingent nature of the election rather than the “FUCK YEAH THIS IS ALREADY IN THE BAG!” type of prognostication we’re used to hearing from them publicly.
“The matter-of-fact email comes as the Trump campaign is publicly projecting confidence, and promoting any polls that show Trump defeating Vice President Harris handily. Trump himself has been quick to belittle unfavorable polls and has vowed that the only way he could lose is if Democrats cheat. He has laid the groundwork for legal challenges if things don’t go his way,” Axios writes, plainly nervous that they may not have sufficiently groveled at the feet of both Harris and Trump amid all the uncertainty about the outcome of this apocalyptic election season.
