An anonymous Arab-American leader in Dearborn, Michigan tells Politico that, after convicted felon president Trump’s batshittery about the US taking over Gaza this week, there’s a sense of remorse in among voters in the community that sat out or voted for the fat fuck or Russian asset Jill Stein that can be summarized as “we screwed up but we’re not going to admit it,” which we guess includes that guy because he required anonymity to speak plainly about the matter.
Further down in the piece, Amer Zahr, who Politico describes as “a progressive activist” in Dearborn said “For those of us who voted against the Democratic Party, in whatever form that was… we understood that we would get this guy, and we understood that we would have to deal with this kind of stuff. But ultimately we don’t believe that we are to blame for this. Democrats could have solved this problem back in the summer. Our price for supporting Harris was really low – all we asked for was, ‘Say that you would consider an arms embargo against Israel.’ And she wasn’t willing to do it.”
Wouldn’t be surprising if the anonymous leader and Zahr were the same guy.
