Among the many stories that National Zero missed over the weekend was the “IED” thrown during a Saturday protest outside of Gracie Mansion in New York City, a reportedly functional bomb aimed not at Mayor Zohran Mamdani, but increasingly notorious pardoned Capitol rioter Jake Lang, 30, a prolific shit-stirrer supposedly running in the Florida GOP Senate primary against creepy incumbent Ashley Moody. Two teenage Pennsylvania men of Muslim backgrounds who allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS were arrested at the scene and face grievous federal charges.

Anyway on Sunday the MAGA grifters lost their shit over how Mamdani worded a tweet, because how dare the Muslim mayor take exception to organized harassment on the basis of his faith:

Our officers ran toward danger without hesitation, demonstrating once again the courage and dedication it takes to protect this city every single day. My administration is closely monitoring the situation and I remain in close contact with our Police Commissioner,” Mamdani wrote, much to the chagrin of those who know that correctly identifying Lang as a white supremacist makes it more difficult to portray him as an innocent victim.
