Dr. Anthony Fauci, the most-trusted representative of the Trump Administration concerning the coronavirus pandemic, will have his first meeting with members of President-elect Biden’s transition team at some point Thursday, NBC News reports.
In a virtual meeting, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases will update the entire Biden team on the status of the government’s plans for dealing with the coronavirus, as well insights into communicating better public health practices with Americans.
According to sources close to him, Fauci intends to remain in his position when the new Administration takes over January 20th.
