South Carolina US Senator Darline Graham on Tuesday captured the Republican nomination for the November special election for her late brother Lindsey’s seat, though probably not by an overwhelming margin over now two-time 2026 statewide primary loser Congressman Ralph Norman, National Zero projects based on a 7.8 percent lead for Graham with 36 percent of votes counted.
Norman, a Freedom Caucasian who made the mistake of endorsing Nikki Haley for president in 2024, was otherwise a hardcore Trump loyalist who famously begged then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows to get the Orange God Emperor to declare “marshall law” to remain in office in a text message sent on January 17, 2021. Why Norman then sided with his former governor three years later is not all that clear but here he is, neither the gubernatorial nominee nor the senate nominee and losing to Lindsey Graham’s sister who openly admitted she doesn’t know shit about national security, anointed by Trump just to reciprocate Lindsey’s mostly fierce loyalty to him.
