Just 52 people were arrested in Washington, DC Wednesday in connection with the coup attempt at the Capitol building and the subsequent curfew, WJZ CBS-13 reports.
MSNBC reports that 14 were for crossing police lines. Others were arrested for simple assault, carrying firearms with licenses and curfew violations.
Fourteen DC police officers were injured in the insurrection. Four people died, including one person who was shot during the intrusion into the Capitol.
DC officials also found two pipe bombs, one each at the Democratic National Committee office and at the Republican National Committee office. At the Capitol grounds, police also found a cooler that contained Molotov cocktails and a gun.
