In the wake of a viral video showing President Trump walking the lobby of his Washington, DC hotel Monday without a mask, and greeting and shaking hands with people who appear to be guests (many of whom were also not masked), the Washington city government will investigate whether the Trump hotel is adhering to mask requirements, the Washington Post reports.
Here is Trump last night not wearing a mask at his DC hotel fundraiser just hours after posting that wearing a mask is "patriotic." Also not wearing masks at the event in violation of a DC mask mandate: Madison Cawthorn, Lindsey Graham and Mark Meadows. https://t.co/0UmP5VcevZ

The DC government has implemented requirements that guests in hotels wear masks in lobbies and other common areas to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
The video shows no fewer than seven people who aren’t wearing masks, including one person who appears to be Senator Lindsey Graham and another who Trump introduces as “Mark,” presumably White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.
A fourth person without a mask in the video appears to be Madison Cawthorn, who just won a primary runoff for a North Carolina Congressional seat. The hotel hosted a fundraiser for Trump’s campaign Monday night.
Washington, DC Mayor Muriel Bowser implement a mandatory mask order in the District on May 13. This included public areas of indoor spaces, including hotel lobbies, unless the individual is eating or drinking.
As ABC News reports, many guests at the hotel have flouted the mask order, including one person holding a “NO MASK ALLOWED” birthday party at the Trump Hotel. MyPillow founder Mike Lindell was also photographed in the hotel lobby without a mask.
