A Long Island man was arrested after he attempted to kidnap two teenage girls, claiming to be an undercover police officer investigating gang crime, NBC News reports.
Donald Cristiano Jr. approached the girls, age 14 and 16, as they were walking to a local library. He was driving a white Nissan Xterra and informed the girls that he was investigating gang activity in the area. Cristiano then offered the girls a ride to the library so they would not have to walk alone.
Arriving at the library, Cristiano then got the older girl out of the car and drove off with the younger one. He then drove off to Lindenhurst, where the remaining girl fought off Cristiano’s assault and escaped, running to a neighborhood house for help.
In the meantime, the 16-year-old reported the abduction to a nearby crossing guard who called 9-1-1. Cristiano was identified through community surveillance footage, and the car was registered to his father.
There’s been no word from QAnon if he was a part of the Deep State circuit of child traffickers.
