On a related note, the Washington Post’s Philip Bump analyzed closed captioning data from this week’s Fox News coverage and found that only one out of over 150 segments about Dr. Seuss on the network actually displayed images of the drawings from the books that were pulled from stores by the author’s estate, to which Bump concludes: “If you’re discussing whether something is toxic and you won’t even show it to your audience… that strongly suggests that it’s toxic.”
