Pillow maven (and man who suddenly thinks making bed sheets gives him some kind of cyber sleuth superpowers) Mike Lindell appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s late night show Wednesday night, and while the appearance wasn’t completely batshit crazy, it was filled with a lot of the easily-disproved conspiracies he’s become famous for.
Kimmel–always straightforward and earnest in talking to Lindell–said that he read Lindell’s new book and the new book by Hunter Biden and noticed a lot of similarities given that the two are admitted recovering addicts.
“Paranoia,” Lindell acknowledged, before confirming to Kimmel that he hasn’t stayed at his home because he’s received “many, many, many threats.”
Still unvaccinated, Lindell said that “God graced him January 6th, 2009” with sobriety, and at the time he “didn’t know a filibuster from a millibuster,” to which Kimmel replied, “Some say you still don’t.”
“I worry about you,” Kimmel said sincerely, “like maybe you’re self-destructive.”
Lindell claimed that he didn’t know about the Dominion machine election fraud until he got information on January 9th. But there’s video of Lindell at the January 5th “Stop the Steal” rally in Washington, DC, the day before the January 6th domestic terrorist attack at the Capitol, talking about “nine different kinds of fraud” in the election, including discussing how the algorithms were tweaked to turn votes to Biden from Trump. (The video is here; Lindell shows up at the 44:00 minute mark.) “I can tell you, 100%, Donald Trump is going to be your president for four more years,” Lindell proclaimed.
Lindell now claims that he wasn’t aware of the problems with Dominion Voting machines until four days later, when “white hat” hackers gave him information which he passed along to the Trump campaign. He was chosen to receive the information, he says, because he was vocal in his support for Trump.
Lindell also said that if the results of the 2020 election were reversed and the voting machine data showed Biden was cheated out of a win, Lindell would be just as vocal to expose the fraud.
Regarding the memo he was holding outside the White House on January 15th calling for martial law if the election wasn’t overturned, Lindell said it wasn’t his memo. Two lawyers gave it to him to take to the White House and give to Trump, and Lindell didn’t even read it.
The segment ended with an actor Kimmel has featured over the last week to parody Lindell coming on stage, with the real Lindell and the parody Lindell agreeing to a pillow fight at the next Minnesota state fair.
