Officers in Leicester, Massachusetts shot a killed a man who drove his SUV into their police station and repeatedly tried to ram through the front door of the building, CNN reports.
The man was able to penetrate the double steel doors at the front of the building when officers were able to get to the location. He exited his vehicle and aimed a rifle at officers, who responded with shots and killed him.
Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. said at a news conference that the man, who was said to be in his 20s, had a traffic violation and an upcoming court date.
