Los Angeles police arrested Kansas City Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark after officers who pulled him over on a vehicle violation Sunday night saw an Uzi submachine gun in his car, CNN reports.
Clark and three other people were pulled over in the University Park neighborhood around the University of Southern California Sunday night. Officers noticed the weapon sticking out of a bag in the vehicle.
A Bakersfield, California native, Clark was booked on charges of possessing a concealed firearm in a vehicle and held in the Los Angeles County jail early Monday morning. He was released on $35,000 bond by 2:30 p.m. local time Monday afternoon.
