The report cover of the Maricopa County canvass
The alleged canvass of Maricopa County voters, done by Republican operatives knocking on doors to ask people who they voted for in the November 2020 election, is completed. Its report, written by losing Republican candidate for state house Liz Harris, starts off with a Big Lie.
The cover of the report claims to show a photo of a vacant lot at the street address of 13226 West Beverly Road in Goodyear, Arizona “that cast two mail-in votes.” The property is not a vacant; a listing on Realtor.com shows the house on the lot is a five bedroom, three bath house on more than four acres. Apparently, the photographer completely missed the 3,672 square foot building.
The canvass got into trouble early on because its volunteers were using public election records to hunt down voters and quiz them who they voted for in the November election, a voter intimidation practice. The less-than-reliable canvass somehow calculated Joe Biden had more than a quarter million votes–roughly 1 in 8 votes cast in the county–fraudulently counted.
