“A Friday night fire at the Trump National Golf Course Hudson Valley in Stormville went to the equivalent of a three-alarm blaze before the fire was finally extinguished. The first fire department was dispatched to 178 Stormville Road in Hopewell Junction around 9:20 p.m.,” reports MidHudsonnews.
“The fire was located in a barn structure that houses the golf carts and their charging system. The fire in the 50-foot-by-100-foot barn was difficult to extinguish and the East Fishkill Fire Department required the assistance of several departments including Fishkill, Rombout, Beekman, Pawling, LaGrange, and Kent Fire Departments to finally dowse the flames. The first responders were finally cleared from the scene just before 1 a.m. on Saturday, September 11.”
“The Dutchess County Fire Investigation Division was called to the scene to assist the East Fishkill Fire Investigation team to determine the cause and origin of the fire. No determination has been released as of Saturday morning.” Without a determination from the fire departments we cannot say this was definitely arson, however given reports of the Trump Organization having a $400 million debt that will soon come due, observers are naturally suspicious that this could be the beginning of a pattern of rampant acts of insurance fraud by the Trump Organization.
Given the loss of value for the Trump brand as a result of the family’s dive into far-right politics, no one would be at all surprised to discover that they’d hired several professional arsonists to help them liquidate properties that had been tainted by the now toxic Trump brand.
