With 92% of the states schools opening, or planning to open, with a hybrid model, school districts in the state of Tennessee have already recorded 2,100 students have tested positive for coronavirus, according to the Associated Press.
Eighteen districts have opted to operate in a full-remote mode, with nine individual schools converting to all-distance learning because of outbreaks at their locations.
Over the past two weeks, the students who reported to be infected were aged 5 to 18, from across all grade levels. Information on virus infections among teachers was not available.
