Ferdinand Marcos Jr, son of late right wing Philippines dictator Ferdinand Marcos Sr who stole an estimated $5 to $10 billion from public coffers during his 21 year reign before fleeing the country with the help of the Reagan Administration and dying in Honolulu in 1989, was elected to a six year presidential term with 59.7% of the vote on Monday, Bloomberg reports. The closest runner up was Vice President Leni Robredo at 28.3% of the vote. Former eight-division world champion boxer Manny Pacquiao got destroyed worse than in his 2015 bout with Floyd Mayweather.
