The Minnesota State Republican Party endorsed for the nomination for governor Dr. Scott Jensen, a member of America’s Frontline Doctors and a coronavirus vaccine skeptic who described the inoculation as “not a vaccine. This is an experimental biological agent,” the Duluth News Tribune reports.
One of five candidates for the nomination, Jenson got the Party endorsement after nine rounds of voting among the 2,000 delegates. Due to archaic rules in the state GOP, the other four candidate agreed to drop our of the primary and let Jensen be the only candidate on the ticket.
A state senator, the 67-year-old was one of the initial members of the right-wing advocacy group America’s Frontline Doctors, famous for having members that advocated quack medical theories like sex with demons causes gynecological problems.
