The man who killed ten Black people at a Buffalo supermarket invited six fellow members of a white nationalist channel on Discord to read his manifesto–which included details of his plan to murder Black people at that specific grocery store–and one of those people was a former federal law enforcement agent, the Buffalo News reports.
None of those people contacted law enforcement agencies, the FBI has confirmed, and it is unknown if any the six people who frequented the channel that discussed anti-Semitic tropes and white supremacy had accessed the writing.
The Discord channel was a location where the shooter and the others frequently communicated with each other. The shooters writing laid out his plan to attack the Tops supermarket to inflict fear and terror in the Black community.
