The US military have granted Ukrainian forces the use of its most advanced artillery shell, the GPS-guided, $100,000 per round M982 Excalibur, according to budget documents reviewed by Bloomberg. The shell, which can hit within seven feet of a satellite pinpointed target from up to 25 miles away, is designed to reduce collateral damage. The military first deployed Excaliburs in Iraq and used it to cancel Al-Qaeda leader Abu Jurah and his buddies there in 2007.
