Wholesale inflation beats expectations

“The Producer Price Index for final demand rose 1.1 percent in May, seasonally adjusted, the US Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Final demand prices advanced 1.1 percent in April and 0.7 percent in March. On an unadjusted basis, the index for final demand increased 6.5 percent for the 12 months ended in May, the largest 12-month rise since moving up 7.4 percent in November 2022.”

“Nearly 80 percent of the May advance in demand prices is attributable to a 2.8-percent increase in the index for final demand goods. Prices for final demand services moved up 0.3 percent. The index for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services rose 0.8 percent in May, the largest advance since increasing 0.9 percent in March 2022. For the 12 months ended in May, prices for final demand less foods, energy, and trade services moved up 5.1 percent, the largest 12-month rise since jumping 5.5 percent in October 2022,” says the US Bureau of Labor Statistics’ monthly Producer Price Index summary which, per CNBC, crushed expectations of just 0.7 percent in a Dow Jones survey.

Tired old huckster promises win that has eluded him for months

“The United States will be hitting Iran (Whose Navy, Air Force, Radar, Anti Aircraft, and all other forms of Defense, together with most of its offensive capability, are GONE!), VERY HARD TONIGHT.”

“At some point in the not too distant future, we will be taking Kharg Island, and other oil infrastructure points, and assume total control of their Oil and Gas Markets, much like we have with Venezuela, which is working out brilliantly for both Venezuela and the United States,” posted convicted felon President Trump on Thursday, his “Truths” just a collection of the same words.

Dems 50 – GOP 40 on generic ballot: Emerson poll

“A new Emerson College Polling national survey finds President Donald Trump holds a 39 percent job approval rating, while 55 percent disapprove of the job the president is doing. On the 2026 midterm generic ballot, the Democratic candidate holds a 10-point lead over the Republican candidate, 50 percent to 40 percent,” says the intro to the typically MAGA-friendly pollster’s monthly findings.

Dems led 49 to 42 percent on the generic ballot in Emerson’s July 2018 national poll.

Republicans demand FEC probe the other Dan Sullivan

Officials at the NRSC have filed a formal complaint with the Federal Election Commission demanding an investigation into Alaska Republican candidate Dan Sullivan as his presence on the ballot threatens to royally fuck incumbent Alaska Republican Senator Dan Sullivan, Semafor reports.

The complaint alleges Amber Lee, a consultant who has previously worked for top Dem candidate former Congresswoman Mary Peltola, has not been paid for work on the not-Senator Dan Sullivan’s fake campaign… which would make sense if she never actually did any work for his campaign.

The NRSC claims that metadata in the press release PDF points to Lee’s firm as having authored it, demanding that there be some kind of sanctions brought against Peltola for the blatant, LBJ-in-1930s-Texas-level fuckery. All of it would seem a lot more serious if (A) That Republicans wouldn’t have done the same thing if they could’ve found some QAnon fan MAGAlaskan also named Mary Peltola to run as a Democrat (B) If they think that people are going to give a shit that this Amber Lee ever worked for Peltola and, most importantly, (C) That the GOP themselves aren’t responsible for the 21st century FEC being fucking mall cops who couldn’t do anything even if they caught Peltola outside of a polling place personally handing out $100 bills to anyone who promised to vote for her.

Spartan should have gone to the hospital

National Zero founder and current lone editor Spartan should probably have gone to the hospital on Tuesday due to the sudden onset of some kind of really bad infection, but because his wife is in Miami on business he decided against it, instead curling up on the couch in sweaty, chilly agony.

Spartan wishes to apologize to readers who might have been worried about him. The sweaty, chilly agony persists and may still require hospitalization once wife returns on a rebooked flight.

Federal judge nukes Regime’s $100,000 H1-B fee

“On September 19, 2025, President Trump signed a Proclamation instituting a $100,000 payment requirement for employers submitting petitions for new H-1B visas. Plaintiffs are twenty states that have sued various executive departments and officials for their role in implementing the Proclamation. Plaintiffs contend that Defendants’ implementation of the Proclamation violates the separation of powers and the Administrative Procedure Act (‘APA’). The parties have cross-moved for summary judgment. Defendants have also moved to dismiss the complaint. For the reasons that follow, the Court DENIES Defendants’ motion for summary judgment,” wrote Massachusetts federal Judge Leo Sorokin in a ruling finding that Fat Hitler does not have statutory authority to impose a $100,000 fee on H1-B visa applications in a stupid bid to deny the tech industry access to talent.

President Two Weeks has some opinions on instant gratification

“Not possible for Spencer Pratt to have lost the LA runoffs after the big lead he had. 3rd World Nation. Rigged Elections! Now they’ll be working on great guy Steve Hilton. Won’t have results for, possibly, TWO WEEKS, according to officials,” posted convicted felon President Trump on Monday.

Now two things can be true at the same time, that California should figure out how to process and tally its votes faster – and that the fat fuck just proclaimed himself leader of a “3rd World Nation” in a tantrum that one of his endorsees has now been eliminated from the top-two mayor primary first round after a protracted count of first round votes. That says a lot more about Trump than his anodyne bitching over some fucking reality show twat like Pratt losing sooner rather than later.

After all, it was Trump who campaigned on “election integrity” back in 2024, that like everything else he hasn’t fixed, he alone could fix it and, as you saw above, here he is crying like some backbench Fox News contributor with no agency over the situation. What an impotent old piece of shit.

Sam Bankrupt-Fried formally applies for Trump pardon

Convicted felon crypto fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried on Monday told Fox Business News he’s formally applied for a pardon from convicted felon President Trump, arguing to a reporter that his now-collapsed digital Monopoly money house FTX’s “customers have been repaid now 170 percent or so on their deposits. It’s one of the very few cases where the platform was over-collateralized, where customers were more than made whole. And yet there was, you know, not just a criminal investigation, but a prosecution. And, you know, dozens of years of sentence[s].”

“SBF” was hit with 25 years in the joint for an extremely convoluted scam where he was using customer deposits in FTX to fund pump up some other digital MacGuffin integral to amassing his peak $30 billion net worth before his downfall – a period during which he supposedly tried to bribe the Orange God Emperor with $5 billion not to run in 2024. Apparently SBF’s strategy now is to act as though that’s all water under the bridge by getting out of prison and then, presumably, finding some other way to bribe Trump in return for the favor. Like his former rival “CZ” did.

“I think SpaceX has extremely large potential, There are some parallels here where… frankly, there are very few companies that are well positioned to play a large role in the space industry,” Bankman-Fried said in his Fox Business News interview, quotes the outlet printed as though he were some hedge fund manager on the sidelines at Davos rather than a federal prison inmate likely talking to them via a collect call. “It’s one of those very few companies and I foresee it having an extremely large amount of upside, you know, even from where it is today, let alone where it was when we invested. And, you know, very few people have been able to grow companies like Elon has.”

White House tired of media’s separation of powers “narrative”

The word “narrative” was actually NOTUS‘s in their Monday article examining the mostly correct and fair assessment of convicted felon President Trump’s ownership of the House GOP majority versus Jesus Dork Speaker Mike Johnson’s compliance. It was “canard” an anonymous White House official used to respond to technically “independent” California Republican Congressman Kevin Kiley’s accurate call for Congress to reclaim its “constitutional authority” from the Orange God Emperor.

“What the media means when they say this stuff is they mean that upholding your constitutional authority is opposing the administration. That’s just not what it is,” the White House official said, adding “And most Republicans, in fact 99.99 percent of Republicans, see through that and vote where their long-standing policy positions are.” And yeah if that were true then Congressional Republicans would have weeks ago voted for authorizing and funding a fucking ballroom with a stupid “drone port” on top for the White House. Thus making the “canard”/”narrative” closer to reality than this shitbag wants to think out loud and anonymously so for reasons unclear.

“It is a total shirking of responsibilities to the White House,” a House Republican said, propagating the canard. “Everything has to be preordained and pre-blessed, and there’s very little that we’re able to have our own will on. We should be empowered to pass our own priorities, not just follow what the mandate of the day is.” Others acknowledged that a two-vote margin and the fact that the president is the one to sign bills passed short of a veto-proof majority (when the hell was the last time that happened?) would naturally make any president paramount over the speaker.
