White House Reichsminister of propaganda Karoline Leavitt will on Monday be on television earlier in the day when she knows her fat slob of a boss is watching instead of pretending to govern.

Most coverage of the luxury 747 convicted felon President Trump intends to accept as a gift “for the United States” before just keeping it for his personal and family’s use simply describes them as the “Qatari royal family” but right wing outlet the Washington Free Beacon dug into it a little further and found that the plane is owned by a member of the family and also former Qatari prime minister Hamad bin Jassim al Thani who, among other scams, is linked to Dem now former Senator “Gold Bars Bob” Menendez, having bribed him with “four tickets for the 2023 Formula One Grand Prix race held in Miami” and other gifts, presumably gold, as Menendez googled “how much is one kilo of gold worth” after a 2021 trip to Qatar, according to one of his several indictments, lol.
Even better: The Trump Administration as recently as March was considering sanctions on Jassim al Thani for supposedly funding “pro-Hamas protests,” also per the Free Beacon. So yeah, that Donald Trump’s got a pretty sweet deal going in that he can threaten to fuck someone up big time with sanctions but then get a free $400 million luxury 747 from the guy in the shakedown. Really helps that he’s flexible on what he purports to be a scourge of antisemitism on US college campuses.
Israeli dictator Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday announced in a video message he’s still aiming to have the IDF seize total control of the Gaza Strip, Newsmax reports on the latest of like however many fucking times he’s said the same thing in more than a year and a half since the horrific October 7th, 2023 surprise attack by Hamas terrorists on southern Israel that wrought an even more horrific bombing campaign on the tiny, ghettoized territory’s impoverished populace.
“The fighting is intense and we are making progress. We will take control of all the territory of the strip,” Netanyahu said in a video posted on Telegram. “We will not give up. But in order to succeed, we must act in a way that cannot be stopped,” yeah yeah yeah, you sick son of a bitch.
Israeli forces have been blockading Gaza since March 2nd, causing mass starvation in a place where half to population is under 18, the survivors of such brutality will undoubtedly have kind of a chip on their shoulder against Israel and probably the United States too. The previous sentence is a statement of simple fact, not any sort of foundation for arguing a moral righteousness to terrorism.
When you create an entire generation that doesn’t give a fuck then you’re going to find out, irrespective of which side is “right” in this situation. The consequences of the atrocities perpetrated in the name of “defending” Israel are going to be felt for a very long time after Netanyahu hopefully dies in prison at the Hague or from getting shot in the face by some far-right settler extremist.
“Significant severe weather is likely from the central/southern Plains into the the Ozarks today into tonight. All severe weather hazards are expected, to include tornadoes (some potentially strong to intense), very large hail, and severe winds. A highly amplified large-scale trough will move gradually eastward from the Rockies across the Plains through the period. Within the base of the trough, an embedded shortwave trough and accompanying 70-kt midlevel speed maximum will overspread the southern and central Plains. In response, a surface cyclone will deepen over north-central Oklahoma, while a focused low-level jet gradually strengthens along/east of a dryline extending southward from the surface cyclone (west of the I-35 corridor),” says a Monday National Weather Service bulletin about a new round of shitty and deadly weather coming for the nation’s interior.
At least 19 people were killed in Kentucky alone on Friday and nine more perished in other states as tornadoes ripped through the region over the first half of the weekend.
Don’t look at the cracks spreading on the pavement captured from a power utility’s facility during the massive, shallow March 28th earthquake in Myanmar. Keep your eye on the other side of the fence.
California seismologist Wendy Bohon tells the CBC this is the first time ever that a fault line rupture has been caught on camera while the earthquake was actually happening. “We have computer models of it. We have laboratory models of it. But all of those are far less complex than the actual natural system. So to see it actually happening was mind-blowing,” said Bohon. It’ll become the Zapruder film of geology, studied frame-by-frame for decades, perhaps longer, until a better one surfaces. Which isn’t to say this one’s bad. In fact the angle’s like 75 percent of the way to the camera having been purposely placed to observe the fault line, minus the gate in the way.
Sunday saw three big national elections in Europe and in about 2.5 the far right took the L:
In Romania, Bucharest Mayor Nicusor Dan took 53.6 percent of the vote in the runoff against the far-right AUR Party’s leader George Simion, who had led the first round of a re-do of an election that had been annulled by the country’s Supreme Court over Russian fuckery, the BBC reports.
In Portugal, Prime Minister Luis Montenegro’s center-right Democratic Alliance came in first but are short of a majority, requiring the party to slap together a coalition. It’s not clear who came in second yet, but either way the Socialists lost ground to the white nationalist Chega party, and Chega may actually end up having taken second place once all the overseas vote is counted.
In Poland, liberal Warsaw mayor Rafal Trzaskowski took a narrow victory in the presidential election at 31.3 percent of the vote, but right wing historian Karol Nawrocki’s strong 29.5 percent second place finish has forced a June 1st runoff. The problem for Trzaskowski besides underperforming his polls by about 5 percent is that a lot of the now-eliminated losers were far-right maniacs, like thirdh-place finisher Slawomir Mentzen, who took 14.8 percent of the vote. Next at 6.3 percent was MP Grzegorz Braun, who in 2023 blew out a large menorah in the Parliament building’s lobby with a fire extinguisher. During a debate last month Braun said “Jews have far too much say in Polish affairs.”
“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT? WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS? ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION? WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO??? I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter. Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment. In addition, this was a very expensive and desperate effort to artificially build up her sparse crowds. IT’S NOT LEGAL! For these unpatriotic ‘entertainers,’ this was just a CORRUPT & UNLAWFUL way to capitalize on a broken system. Thank you for your attention to this matter!!!” posted convicted felon President Trump at 1:34 AM Monday.
It was a very extreme tonal shift from his 5:32 PM Sunday post which said “Melania and I are saddened to hear about Joe Biden’s recent medical diagnosis. We extend our warmest and best wishes to Jill and the family, and we wish Joe a fast and successful recovery,” raising the possibility that the president did not in fact personally write the earlier post to his social media platform.
“Beau died of prostate cancer in Afghanistan you know” – The current top comment on the Breitbart article “Joe Biden Diagnosed with Prostate Cancer,” posted Sunday.
A good way to support your assertion that there’s a genocide taking place in another country is to cite specific incidents of mass killings as part of that campaign of genocide in the form of their location, their date, and the death toll such as, for example, the Summer 1992 Doboj Massacre in Bosnia during which at least 408 Croats and Bosniaks were slaughtered by Serb militia. Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Sunday did not provide and similar facts and figures about the supposed genocide of white South Africans in recent years and, to make matters even stupider, kind of couched it in the form of an opinion by saying he “thinks” there’s evidence to support the assertions meant to justify the admission of dozens of white trash fake “refugees” from the country.
While maybe not as impressive of a feat distance-wise as the feline that spent much of last summer on an 800-mile trek from Yellowstone to northern California, Florida tabby George last week managed to overcome the fresh removal of his testicles and the aftereffects of heavy sedation from the procedure to escape from an SPCA shelter in Lakeland and make it back across some rough terrain to his home in adjacent Loma Verde, 2.7 miles away last week, the Miami Herald reports.
The reporting on this is a little fuzzy as some outlets identify Bob Beasock as George’s owner while the Herald writes he’d been “taking care of” the cat and he also wrote some of the press release. So guessing he’s a foster owner involved with the shelter if not the cat’s owner. Either way he was impressed with how the cat opened his cage and escaped “with silly drugs in his system” and rightly overjoyed to suddenly find George lounging in his usual spot at the Beasock home.
“There was George – stretched out in his chair in our carport, looking like he had just returned from a grand adventure,” wrote Beasock in the shelter’s release. “He was a bit thinner, clearly hungry, but otherwise no worse for the wear. The trek from SPCA Florida to Loma Verde isn’t terribly long, but for a cat, it’s a formidable journey. George would have to cross several busy roads, slip past barking dogs, and circle the vast shores of Lake Victoria – all while recovering from surgery.”
There’s a few ways to look at this: One is “No shit,” another is “Lol, the MAGA kids are going to freak the fuck out at the Trump regime – again – for not telling them what they want to hear about Jeffrey Epstein’s death.” The third’s simple enough to understand if maybe a little complex to explain: Belief the Clintons sent their goons to kill Epstein to silence him is an acknowledgement that the first Trump Administration was too feckless and incompetent to ensure the safety of a high-value prisoner whose knowledge could bring down Bill and Hillary’s entire criminal empire. It was a federal lockup run by the US Bureau of Prisons, a division of the US Department of Justice, which in 2019 was led by Attorney General Bill Barr – whose father literally fucking hired Epstein to teach math to high school girls in 1970 – and thus Trump. The 5D chessmaster failed to anticipate the moves of his shadowy opponents… Or just didn’t prevent Epstein’s suicide out of laziness and stupidity.
Either way, it’s a stain that fanboys refuse to acknowledge. Then there’s the fourth way that one can see pretty easily and it also tracks with the obvious hesitance from Trump and Pam Bondi to release all the Epstein files: If he was murdered it was on Trump and/or Barr’s orders to silence him about TRUMP’S use of the dead pimp’s “services.” He would’ve gone on trial in 2020 and might’ve testified about his “friendship” right in the middle of the fat fuck’s reelection campaign. Nobody can seriously believe that Epstein’s death wasn’t a net plus for Trump, no matter how it happened. Making it not terribly unreasonable for a lib to see Patel and Bongino’s answer here as them continuing the Trump cover-up. There’s really something for everyone here in just 30 seconds of stupid Fox News.
In headlining an an article titled “One Thing Helping Trump’s Approval Rating: Some People Are Not Paying Attention – Voters were more likely to approve of President Trump’s job performance if they had not been following some of the major news stories of his first 100 days in office, a recent New York Times/Siena College poll found,” the Gray Lady does not actually acknowledge the utter fucking obviousness of that conclusion besides writing “Mr Trump has traditionally done well with lower-information voters, so it is perhaps not surprising that they are more inclined to support his presidency,” with the “perhaps” still hedging far too much on what’s as plain as Donald is orange.
Which isn’t to say the data itself or their analysis of the delta between the low/no-info respondents is somehow bad or worthless, it’s just, well “no shit” that they’re more likely to approve of him if they aren’t following the news about his incompetence, corruption, and fascist ambitions.
Anyway for the actual data: Among those who have heard about Mahmoud Khalil’s case Trump’s approval on immigration policy was 40 percent, among those who hadn’t the approval was at 55 percent. Similarly but less pronounced was the delta between those who had heard about Kilmar Abrego Garcia at 46 approve of immigration policy if they had heard of it to 54 percent if not.
Treasury Suckretary Scott Bessent on Sunday told CNN’s Jake Tapper that he’s spoken with Walmart leadership who told him that the retail behemoth would be “absorbing some of the tariffs” but “some may get passed on to consumers,” kind of ignoring his boss convicted felon President Trump’s assertion that Walmart was just making shit up out of greed. Bessent also lamely defended the Qatar Force One scam with “the Statue of Liberty was a gift,” after which Tapper did not press him on the part that the jet would in 2029 be transferred to Trump’s presidential library for his continued, indefinite personal use. Maybe Tapper was distracted by all the hype surrounding his new book about the media conspiracy to cover up how old Joe Biden was.
Swinging in for an interview with NBC’s Kristen Welker, former Vice President Mike Pence on Sunday tried to rope his former boss away from accepting the deeply corrupt gift of a luxury 747 from the Qatari royal family. “First we’ve got to remember who Qatar is. We’ve got a military base there. I have members of our immediate family that have deployed to the region,” said Pence. “But Qatar has a long history of playing both sides. They support Hamas. They supported Al Qaeda. Qatar has actually financed pro-Hamas protests on American campuses across the US,” Pence continued, that last part about them backing pro-Palestinian libs almost certainly complete horseshit.
“Why doesn’t Chairman Bob Iger do something about ABC Fake News, especially since I just won $16,000,000 based on the Fake and Defamatory reporting of Liddle’ George Slopadopolus. He was given warnings, but just couldn’t be restrained by “management.” Now I see they are at it again, and I again give these SleazeBags fair warning! The wonderful country of Qatar, after agreeing to invest more than 1.4 Trillion Dollars in the United States of America, deserves much better than Misleading (Fake!) News. Everyone, including their lawyers, has been told that ABC must not say that Qatar is giving ME a FREE Boeing 747 Airplane, because they are not. Instead, and as Fake News ABC fully knows and understands, this highly respected country is donating the plane to the United States Air Force/ Defense Department, AND NOT TO ME. By so doing, they are saving our country, and the American Taxpayer, hundreds of millions of dollars. ABC Fake News is one of the WORST” posted convicted felon President Trump late Saturday.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, the complete dipshit who asked the Trump Regime for an “off-ramp” from his doomed gubernatorial bid in the form of an ambassadorship, then turned it down because Cyprus is too small and thus not important enough for the fucking prissy diva who found their offer an insult, then drifted aimlessly for a few more weeks while his state party endorsed friggin Vivek Ramaswamy, finally gave up the ghost Friday, breaking the news to dozens of fans.
“It’s never been about me. Public service is in my blood – we talk in the Attorney General’s office about doing ‘Big Good.’ It’s why I decided to offer myself as a candidate for governor. It’s also why I am suspending my campaign today. The past couple of years of travelling [sic] around my beloved state have reconnected me with my roots: the incredible, resilient people and their work ethic, the rich history and breathtaking land, the engines of commerce and prosperity and learning. I will continue to serve them, perhaps for quite a while yet. But it is also apparent that a steep climb to the nomination for governor has become a vertical cliff. I do not wish to divide my political party or my state with a quixotic battle over the small differences between my vision and that of my opponent.”
“I am simply not that important. Ideas do matter, though, and the comeback attempt by Sherrod Brown represents a real and present danger to Ohio’s prosperity. Our state has challenges ahead, but we are not Washington, DC Columbus needs re-engineering, not demolition. Sherrod Brown and the risky progressive ideas of his party will unwind all of the good that the last 15 years of Republican leadership has brought” and blah blah blah Yost wrote in an email. Love the “I am simply not that important” from this asshole and how it contrasts with why he’s here and not in a cushy embassy in Cyprus, doing nothing but eating figs and hummus on the US taxpayer dime.
Warning Walmart of unspecified retribution as the consequences of his actions are wrought upon their customers, convicted felon President Trump on Saturday posted “Walmart should STOP trying to blame Tariffs as the reason for raising prices throughout the chain. Walmart made BILLIONS OF DOLLARS last year, far more than expected. Between Walmart and China they should, as is said, ‘EAT THE TARIFFS,’ and not charge valued customers ANYTHING. I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!!!” Interesting how in the space of three sentences Trump said they should stop blaming the tariffs for price increases – as if it’s somehow dishonest and disingenuous on their part to be doing so – and then said they should simply absorb the real cost that he imposed.
The clip is too short to merit a YouTube rip, but top clip guy Aaron Rupar on Friday got House Oversight Chairbilly James Comer telling former Congressman Jason Chaffetz accusing James Comey of trying to “jizz up a coup” with the goddamned “86 47” seashells tweet.
Movie Night Friday: Deep Impact
Boloid impacts are bad. Movies about them are bad too. This movie’s kind of bad. But Robert Duvall’s a good astronaut. And Morgan Freeman’s an okay president… He got blamed for it.
