White House economic wiener Kevin Hassett was all smiles on Monday morning as he told CNBC that there will be plenty of uncertainty in the markets before April 2nd when everything will be certain because that’s when convicted felon President Trump will, with 100 percent certainty, impose reciprocal tariffs on Canada and Mexico. It’s not certain yet which products will be tariffed.
The Trump Regime on Monday claimed that Brown University kidney transplant specialist Dr Rasha Alawieh’s phone contained, per Politico’s Josh Gerstein, “numerous” photos of “Hezbollah militants” including now-dead leader Hassan Nasrallah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps General Qasem Soleimani, in the deleted items folder. This apparently is their justification for denying the H1B visa holder Alawieh reentry when she landed in Boston on Thursday and then sent to Paris despite a federal judge ordering CBP to provide 48 hours notice to the court of any such action.
“There is a shortage of American doctors working in Dr Alawieh’s area of specialty, transplant nephrology. Foreign-born physicians play an important role in the field, according to experts,” the New York Times wrote in their Sunday story about the Ivy League-educated physician’s ordeal.
Irrespective of the demand in her field, it does not appear from Gerstein’s tweet that the photos and videos were taken by Alawieh or she posed with the terrorists for selfies or anything like that and, irrespective of that detail, it’s worth asking why the fuck their word should be trusted on the assertion when they outright disobeyed an order to provide notice to the court.
In a Friday article titled “North Carolina GOP town hall turns heated as self-described veteran escorted out by security,” Fox News implicitly questioned whether the unnamed local man who screamed “You have nothing to say but lies. You’re lying. I’m a veteran, and you don’t give a fuck about me!” at last week’s raucous public forum hosted by North Carolina MAGA Congressman Chuck Edwards is actually a military veteran, unsubtly hinting that he might be a stolen valor dickhead.
The article, which includes a photo of a large, angry, tattooed man who does not seem at all like a cupcake, continuing to shout while being asked to leave by two police officers, was printed around the same time the Asheville Watchdog posted an interview with the man, identifying him as 54 year-old Jay Carey, who served 20+ years in the Army and saw action in the first Iraq War, Afghanistan, and Bosnia, earning a Bronze Star during one of the campaigns. The Watchdog’s article also mentions that Carey’s a registered Democrat who in 2022 ran in the district’s House primary, a background Fox News might have done well to have looked into or at least later followed up with.
Might have been a better look for them to – quite likely correctly – paint Carey’s outburst as a pre-campaign stunt ahead of a 2026 challenge to Edwards, one in which he filmed free footage for a future ad about standing up for his fellow veterans against a feckless twat McDonald’s franchisee who whined about having to face constituents. That would’ve had the effect of casting Carey’s intentions as “grandstanding” and thus given the Fox audience the permission structure they crave to dismiss him as a “fake” veteran. Would’ve worked better than weakly questioning his service to the country, something incongruous at best for a propaganda operation that regularly fetishes right wing veterans with horseshit like “Vietnam veteran says he’s ‘honored’ to give Trump his Purple Heart after assassination attempt,” without any qualification of whether the medal was authentic.
“The ‘Pardons’ that Sleepy Joe Biden gave to the Unselect Committee of Political Thugs, and many others, are hereby declared VOID, VACANT, AND OF NO FURTHER FORCE OR EFFECT, because of the fact that they were done by Autopen. In other words, Joe Biden did not sign them but, more importantly, he did not know anything about them! The necessary Pardoning Documents were not explained to, or approved by, Biden. He knew nothing about them, and the people that did may have committed a crime. Therefore, those on the Unselect Committee, who destroyed and deleted ALL evidence obtained during their two year Witch Hunt of me, and many other innocent people, should fully understand that they are subject to investigation at the highest level.”
“The fact is, they were probably responsible for the Documents that were signed on their behalf without the knowledge or consent of the Worst President in the History of our Country, Crooked Joe Biden!” posted convicted felon President Trump early Monday.
Convicted felon President Trump’s regime openly admits to defying a federal judge’s order to turn around two planes full of Venezuelan deportees on Saturday because the flights were over international waters, therefore the order didn’t apply somehow, Axios reports.
“I just won the Golf Club Championship, probably my last, at Trump International Golf Club, in Palm Beach County, Florida. Such a great honor! The Awards dinner is tonight, at the Club. I want to thank the wonderful Golf Staff, and all of the many fantastic golfers, that participated in the even. Such fun!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Sunday, after at least 30 people were killed across the Midwest in tornadoes, wildfires, and a raging dust storm wreaked havoc on MAGA voters.
Wisconsin Trump voter Brad Bartell is seeing some real tangible changes to the way immigration enforcement is conducted in the US since his Orange Messiah returned to office in January, telling the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that ICE is “cracking down” and he’s hearing stories about undocumented immigrants being “trapped in a room with 100 other” detainees at a holding facility.
It’s Bartell’s Peruvian wife, Camilla Munoz, telling him about this via collect calls that cost 20 cents a minute. Munoz was nabbed as they stepped off a flight from Puerto Rico, where they had their honeymoon. “What the fuck do I do?” Bartells thought to himself as she stuck her wedding ring in her backpack and handed it to Bartell as she was led away by the regime’s stormtroopers.
“Emotionally, I’m concerned for her,” he said. “It can’t be easy being trapped in a room with 100 other people. They don’t have anything in there. It’s just so wasteful. I knew they were cracking down. I guess I didn’t know how it was going down.” Per the Journal-Sentinel, Bartells “imagined the administration would target people who snuck over the border and weren’t vetted,” and that everything would be fine for his wife since all she did was overstay a work visa.
“They know who she is and where she came from. They need to get the vetting done and not keep these people locked up. It doesn’t make any sense.” Bartell should pray to his Orange god for mercy.
Fuck you, Americans. You mean nothing now that we’re in power. Your “concerns” are but the squeaks of ants watching the boot of our machine rushing down from above. An adjustment is coming and you are to be adjusted. We will be fine. Even better than fine. You, however, will suffer.
A new NBC News national survey finds convicted felon President Trump’s approval rating on his handling of the economy – 54 percent disapprove, 44 percent approve – and how he’s handling the cost of living – 55 percent disapprove, 42 percent approve – his lowest ever, and the first time he’s ever been underwater in their polling since he first weaseled his way into office in 2017.
Movie Night Saturday: World War Z
(1) This should’ve been last night, but life gets in the way of National Zero sometimes.
(2) This movie should have been should not have been made. Or at least named as such. World War Z absolutely sucks as an adaptation of Max Brooks’s (son of Mel) seminal fictitious oral history of the zombie war. Seriously it’s a riveting, heartbreaking read that begged for a proper treatment in the form of a lengthy TV series. This movie does not do the book justice. Not even close.
(3) However, as strictly a zombie thriller, in a vacuum, World War Z is pretty freaking solid, even at a PG-13 rating. If it had been named War of the Dead or something, no fans of the book would have complained. Or even noticed, that’s how little of the source material’s plot had been adapted. The only one that sticks out, specifically set in Israel and how the country fortifies itself, is actually also the dumbest part of this movie given its lack of realism. Everything else was done very well.
“The Fake News, as usual, is at it again! Why can’t they be honest, just for once? Last night I read that President Vladimir Putin of Russia kept my Highly Respected Ambassador and Special Envoy, Steve Witkoff, waiting for over nine hours when, in fact, there was no wait whatsoever.”
“Other meetings with other Representatives of Russia did take place and, obviously, they took some time, but they were very productive. From there, things went quickly and efficiently, and all signs seem to be, hopefully, very good! In conclusion, there was no nine hour wait, or any wait at all! The only reason they made up that story is to try and DEMEAN, because they are sick degenerates, that have to start reporting the News correctly. This is why they have lost their ratings, their audience, and respect. Thank you for your attention to this matter and, GOD BLESS AMERICA!” posted convicted felon President Trump on Saturday, obviously sensitive about certain reporting.
Thing is that it wasn’t CNN or the New York Times who printed that about Witkoff being dicked around but the UK’s Sky News. And they’re just the most cited by others – the New York Post also mentions it apparently independently, writing “Putin met with Witkoff late Thursday after having kept the American waiting since roughly 12:30 pm, according to flight tracking data and Russian reports.”
The “Russian reports” were not elaborated upon further but it’s not a sucker’s bet that they’d be regime-friendly media outlets keen on hyping up Putin’s petty domination display over Witkoff.
“You give POSchumer far too much credit” – The current top comment on a Saturday morning PJ Media column headlined “Did Schumer Deliberately Enrage Democrats in Order to Unite Them?”
It’s something of a rare gem of a Trump fanboy comment in that it’s the voice of reason in contrast to the content above. The column by some assclown Rick Moran itself is kind of on-brand for PJ Media and the other sites under its umbrella – Townhall, RedState, HotAir, etc – in which the opinion/analysis tends goes into these freaking weird ass ruminations where they’re worrying their fellow MAGA assholes are underestimating this or that potential political threat to the reich.
And yeah, “Schumer isn’t stupid. It may be that he’s using up his prestige, carefully husbanded over his 30 years in Washington, to act as a punching bag to unite the Democrats in any way possible,” is proooooobably overestimating the acumen and motives of current Dem Senate minority leader.
Canadian entrepreneur Jasmine Mooney, a 35 year-old white woman with a bougie water brand is finally free after 12 days in various ICE detention facilities in Arizona and California, her arrest coming on March 3rd when she tried to enter via the border crossing between Tijuana on a “TN work visa” that had been revoked in November, 10 News San Diego reports, adding the ICE squad putting her on a flight to Vancouver went out of the way to avoid the station’s cameras.
“They drove off and then they took me in the back because they didn’t want any media attention, so they just snuck me in,” Mooney, a former B-movie actress, said in a phone call to the station from the tarmac before her flight to Vancouver took off, adding that she saw the news crew waiting and confirmed that’s why the ICE van sped off to another entrance. “I was in the back, all like, in chains.”
Reporting elsewhere indicated that Mooney was held in the same conditions as and along with Central American migrants, stuck in a large jail cell all day with one sink and toilet between 30+ women, forced to sleep on a concrete floor with just mats. Inhumane no matter who you are, attractive white woman or not. The real question is why the fuck she was detained at all rather than simply turned away. ICE did not respond to any requests for comment on that issue.
“If it wasn’t for Brittany and my friends with a ton of resources and my family and you guys and your story, I would still be in there,” said Mooney after the “inhumane” ordeal was over.
Cybertruck deliveries halted
New deliveries of Ketamine Brain’s hideous electric shitbox have been halted by Tesla due to a loose panel on the trim of the roofline that has been flying off for owners, Jalopnik reports.
Sources tell the Wall Street Journal that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bonesaw’s plan to build The Line, a pair of 1,600 ft tall, 106 mile skyscrapers stretching across a deeply inhospitable region of his country’s desert wasteland is running into certain difficulties and may end up breaking both its target completion date of 2080 and its cost estimate of $8.8 trillion if things don’t change soon.
The bummer of an outlook on hitting those goals comes from the fact that $50 billion has already been spent and all they have to show for it is a golf resort at one end of “Neom,” the futuristic cyberpunk metropolis inspired by Bonesaw’s love of sci-fi and video games, of which The Line is intended to be the centerpiece. The centerpiece of The Line is “The Chandelier” described by the Journal as “essentially an empty glass building more than 30 stories tall – is planned to hang upside down from a giant steel bridge in the Line. It was designed by Marvel film designer Olivier Pron, who was brought in because staff knew the prince liked his movies, some of the former employees said.”
Neom execs were hoping to have at least 10 miles of The Line built by 2030, which the Journal estimates equivalent to constructing three times the square footage of all office space in Midtown Manhattan in five years – plus the multiple theaters and amusement parks suspended in between The Line’s skyscrapers. Burdened by expenses from not getting all this shit built, pencil pushers involved with the project have taken to boosting the “internal rate of return.” For example, fees for an “inventive glamping” site that hasn’t been built yet were readjusted to $704 a night, up from $216, ahead of a big presentation to potential investors. New York-based consultancy McKinsey helped them come up with that idea as a value-add to their $145 million fee for overseeing the project.
Convicted felon President Trump, investigated multiple times by this very agency, will triumphally address his conquered foes in a norms-breaking visit to the Justice Department on Friday.
In what’s sure to be a major test of the Speech and Debate Clause, South Carolina man Brian Musgrave on Friday filed a defamation lawsuit against crazy Congresswoman Nancy Mace’s speech to the House floor last month in which she accused Musgrave, a business associate of her ex-fiancee Patrick Bryant, and two others of engaging in sex trafficking, Palmetto Politics reports.
“Perhaps the defendants felt that the message was so powerful that a little collateral damage in the form of Brian Musgrave’s name and reputation was acceptable,” Musgrave’s lawyers wrote in the complaint, filed in a Charleston federal court. “It is not acceptable to Brian Musgrave. It is not acceptable to his family. While the speech and debate clause of the United States Constitution affords broad protection to members of Congress acting as part of its deliberative process, it does not transform the floor of Congress into a sanctuary for defamation, nor does it protect Congresswoman Mace’s extra-Congressional defamatory statements surrounding her speech.”
It was pretty goddamned obvious that was why Mace read it on the floor rather than tweeted it in a video or whatever, so any sane, functional justice system would probably use this case to set a new minimum reasonable standard for where the limitations are rather than just letting them say whatever the fuck they want and then retroactively shoehorning in some specious “legislative purpose” to dodge consequences. Key words there being “sane” and “functional” so who knows what the hell’s going to happen. You could do a lot worse for a test case. Would help if Musgrave doesn’t end up accepting a settlement before such precedent is set, even if it takes years. If he’s unafraid of discovery then he should be willing to see this through. It’d be some measure of justice after Lindsey Graham, David Perdue, Kelly Loeffler, Scott Perry, Ron Johnson, and all those other twats got away from with the 2020 coup attempt simply because of the Speech and Debate Clause.
“Next question”
House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries refused to answer Friday when asked if Chuck Schumer should remain Senate Dem leader, saying simply “Next question,” per a clip by Acyn Torabi.
This is five minutes, but it’s worth a listen to get into the persecuted heart of darkness inside Michigan Congresskaren Lisa McClain as she talks to CNN’s Boris Sanchez like he’s a teenager – specifcally one of the honor students in the class who calmly tells a teacher why she’s full of shit.
DOGE-eat-dog world
From an email sent out from a TSA official to the agency’s bomb-sniffing dog handlers, obtained by Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin: “As of the moment, ALL requests for everything to include (Vet visits, kenneling, dog food, etc…) have been put on hold until we receive further guidance. I apologize for the confusion, but due to new guidance sent out last night, nothing is being approved at this time. Once I receive an update, I will be sure to share with all of you.”
Griffin’s one of the (very few remaining) functional adults at Fox, basically the reporting side’s Jessica Tarlov. Needed to point that out, even if it otherwise should be obvious given how fucked up this is, that the Trump regime won’t pay for veterinary care or even food for TSA K9s.
