In all seriousness this pic posted by Harris campaign “rapid response” guy is indeed “full circle,” and more importantly shows the parallels in their political origins as hard-working local elected officials in big city jurisdictions to state-level office to the Senate to the executive branch.

In a live-streamed 2021 interview unearthed by ABC News even though small-faced dipshit MAGA influencer dipshit Charlie Kirk pulled the video at some point this year, eyeliner wearing Ohio Senator JD Vance in 2021 told Kirk he thinks that childless Americans should pay higher taxes.

“So, you talk about tax policy, let’s tax the things that are bad and not tax the things that are good,” Vance said in the interview, for which ABC was only able to find audio. “If you are making $100,000, $400,000 a year and you’ve got three kids, you should pay a different, lower tax rate than if you are making the same amount of money and you don’t have any kids. It’s that simple.”

Vance’s spokesperson told ABC that “the policy Senator Vance proposed is basically no different than the Child Tax Credit, which Democrats unanimously support,” which isn’t actually the worst response given the time and the context of the Biden Administration pushing it (except if they actually unanimously supported it then it would still be law. Fuck Joe Manchin). Still, it’s not a good look for Vance given the “childless cat lady” shitshow. That Kirk pulled it this year, probably right around the time Vance joined their Orange Allah’s 2024 ticket ought to tell you enough.

Separately, CNN reports that restaurants in Japan, unable to keep up with tourist traffic, have started charging them higher prices than locals – something the restauranteurs are claiming is actually a discount for locals when asked by media after the fact… Similarly, Vance could just fucking take the podium in the Senate and announce his support for reviving the child tax credit if he wants to frame his position similarly as being an incentive to procreate rather than a penalty for not.

In very much related news, even while there’s plenty of controversy over whether Trump’s ear was struck by a bullet or a piece of glass from a teleprompter during the shooting, the New York Times put together a detailed analysis and concluded the evidence “strongly suggests Mr Trump was grazed by the first of eight bullets fired by the gunman, Thomas Crooks.” National Zero’s editorial position is “who actually gives a fuck” whether it was a bullet or a shard of glass, though we can appreciate why some other anti-MAGA media outlets and personalities are eager to undermine Trump’s messianic “took a bullet for democracy” bullshit song-and-dance. It’s just that to us it’s a distinction without any meaningful difference when we’ve got a lot of other news to cover.

Far right “Meme General” Brenden Dilley went a little further in a now-deleted quote tweet, asserting he could “fix this in one afternoon and have a team sitting on literally THOUSANDS of hours in finished content… Just sayin.” Why he deleted it, we don’t know, but he may have pushed it too far and Trump’s team got “a hold of” him and told him to shut the fuck up or suffer.

Officials with the North Carolina state Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday informed MAGA shitbag GOP gubernatorial nominee and current Lt Governor Mark Robinson’s wife Yolanda Hill that her now-shuttered nonprofit, Balanced Nutrition Inc, was “seriously deficient” in its operations and still owes the state at least $24,400 in “unverified expenses,” the AP reports.

The taxpayer-funded Balanced Nutrition collected roughly $7 million in federal meal program grants since 2017 – during which it also paid out at least $830,000 in salaries to Hill, Robinson (probably food too, the fat bastard), and other members of their family, filings show. The AP’s article contains all the other red flags that it was a graft mill for the Trump-endorsed conspiracy freak and his wife.

A new survey of Michigan likely voters by the Glengariff Group for WDIV finds Vice President Kamala Harris leading convicted felon former President Trump by a razor-thin 41.6 percent to 41.3 percent with brainwormed independent candidate Robert F Kennedy Jr in third at 10 percent and the Libertarian Chase Olivier pulling 0.7 percent support. Harris improved over Biden by 9 percent net relative to WDIV’s last survey in January, which put Trump ahead of Biden 46.8 to 38.6 percent, also finding Gov Gretchen Whitmer over Trump 49.4 to 44.7 percent in a hypothetical matchup.

French rail company SNCF announced on Friday its high-speed train system had been hit by “deliberate arson attacks to damage [its] facilities,” fucking with at least 800,000 travelers headed for Paris on the opening weekend of the Olympics, Politico EU reports. Smells Russian.

“The system was hit by three fires near train tracks “in areas far from Paris,” SNCF exec Jean-Pierre Farandou said. “These locations were chosen to have serious consequences, because with one fire, they hit two train lines.” A 40 year-old Russian-born man was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of intent to “to stir up hostility in France,” a charge that carries a 30 year sentence.

One day after President Joe Biden said Supreme Court ethics reform would be a focus of his last months in office, Justice Elena Kagan told a California conference organized by the 9th Circuit that the Court needs a way to enforce its ethics guidelines, NBC News reports.

The Court adopted a new code of conduct in November but, Kagan noted, did not include a system to investigate and enforce alleged violations. “The thing that can be criticized is, you know, rules usually have enforcement mechanisms attached to them, and this one — this set of rules — does not,” she said.

Kagan is not without her own benefactors.  While she didn’t accept lavish vacations or even a motor home like her colleagues Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito, Kagan has accepted a total of $1,184 in gifts since she joined the Court, an investigation uncovered, which is just as bad as the $4 million Clarence and Ginny got, some people say.

Failed New York lawyer and Nosferatu role player Rudy Giuliani’s gross incompetence may have finally benefited him:  the judge who recently dismissed Giuliani’s bankruptcy case said he may be forced to reopen the case to appoint an overseer to straighten out the former Trump attorney’s financial information, NBC News reports.

Like Gateway Pundit, Giuliani filed for bankruptcy to try to protect assets at risk from various defamation lawsuits including one he lost to two Fulton County, Georgia election workers for $148 million.  After Giuliani repeatedly failed to submit demanded records to creditors, U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Sean Lane threw out the filing and allowed Giuliani’s creditors to sue him.

Lane now, however, finds himself in a position where he cannot dismiss the case because Giuliani has not paid the required administrative fee, and in order to ensure Giuliani would pay the fees in the future, Lane could keep the case open and appoint a trustee to clear up, manage and liquidate Giuliani’s assets as appropriate.  That trustee would essentially keep Giuliani on an allowance approved by the court.  Lane asked the involved parties’ lawyers to submit their preferences.

The Trump Vance Circus and Clown Show released a statement Thursday evening hinting that Donald Trump won’t debate until Democrats formally nominate a candidate, putting blame on the delay on Barack Obama, who clearly is delaying things while his wife gains momentum to capture the nom.

“Given the continued political chaos surrounding Crooked Joe Biden and the Democrat Party, general election debate details cannot be finalized until Democrats formally decide on their nominee,” the campaign said in a post that screams insecurity.  “There is a strong sense by many in the Democrat Party–namely Barack Hussein Obama–that Kamala Harris is a Marxist fraud who cannot beat President Trump, and they are still holding out for someone ‘better.’ Therefore, it would be inappropriate to schedule things with Harris because Democrats very well could still change their minds.”

Trump debating a seasoned prosecutor and politician like Kamala Harris is his campaign’s worst nightmare.  To most non-cultish pundits, Trump lost his debates against Hillary Clinton in 2016 largely because he acted like a sexist punk.  If he gets on stage with a bi-racial, multicultural professional woman like Harris could make Trump blow a gasket like never before.

Gateway Pundit failed in its effort to protect its existence through a fraudulent bankruptcy filing, as a bankruptcy judge in Florida ruled the company sought the legal protections in “bad faith,” the Washington Post reports.

Southern District of Florida bankruptcy judge Mindy Mora ruled that the defamation suits brought by Fulton County, Georgia election workers Rudy Freeman and Shaye Moss and election technology company Dominion Voting Systems may proceed.  Mora noted Gateway Pundits’ assets were valued at 22 times the company’s debts, with $3 million in revenue in 2023.

“In this unusual bankruptcy case, truth is at the center of all disputes. Lack of truthful disclosure, theories based upon half-truths, claims for which truth could provide a defense — all possibilities are on display,” Mora wrote in her decision. “Litigation about truth pushed [Gateway Pundit] to file bankruptcy, but that unusual twist does not alter the Court’s duty to remain focused on bankruptcy issues.”

New York Supreme Court Judge Arthur Engoron denied Donald Trump’s attempt to force him off the case, saying a random encounter with a non-involved lawyer did not constitute an improper communication about the case, CNN reports.

The motion was brought after a local New York outlet reported a real estate lawyer, Adam Bailey, said he had discussed Trump’s case with Engoron in a courthouse hallway.  “I saw him in the corner [at the courthouse] and I told my client, ‘I need to go.’ And I walked over and we started talking … I wanted him to know what I think and why…I really want him to get it right,” Bailey recounted.  It’s unclear if Bailey ever had contact with Trump or had done business with the Trump Organization.

Apparently unfamiliar with New Yorkers’ habit of making their opinions known, Trump’s lawyers claimed this ranting eviction lawyer may have influenced the $454 million judgment against their client.  Saying that he was “accosted” by Bailey during the “90-second incident,” Engoron called the accusation a “nothingburger.”  In his decision, Engoron noted that he had overseen more than 2,600 motions during the 3-1/2 year case.  I am supremely confident in my ability to continue to serve, as I always have, impartially,” he stated.

Vice President Kamala Harris’s support among voters between the ages of 18 to 30 in living in urban and suburban areas in Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania is at 53 percent to convicted felon former President Trump’s 29 percent, a 20 percent improvement over Joe Biden’s 33 to 27 percent versus the fat fuck the pollsters at Change Reserach found last month, Semafor reports.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s office on Thursday filed its opposition to fat former President Trump’s bid to toss his conviction on 34 counts on falsifying business records to cover up his two minute sexual encounter with pornstar Stormy Daniels, arguing “Defendant failed to preserve any immunity-based objection to most of the evidence that is the subject of his current motion.”

“His arguments are meritless in any event, since the evidence at issue either concerned unofficial conduct that is not subject to any immunity, or is a matter of public record that is not subject to preclusion. And even if some of this evidence were improperly admitted, any error was harmless in light of other overwhelming evidence of defendant’s guilt. Finally, defendant’s unpreserved challenge to the grand jury proceeding is beyond this Court’s review and fails in any event under the highly deferential standard for reviewing such proceedings.” In plainer English this means Trump forfeited his right to assert “presidential immunity” from the charges when he backed out of a pre-trial bid to move the case to federal court because he was an “officer of the United States.”
