As part of the investigation, agents identified Maldonado-Bustos as a high-level cartel member who allegedly coordinated the manufacturing of large quantities of heroin in Mexico. In particular, the investigation revealed that Maldonado-Bustos allegedly directed the harvesting of gum from opium fields, procured chemicals to process the gum into heroin, and supplied Camacho-Goicochea and other conspirators in Mexico with the heroin to import into cities in the United States, including Atlanta, and Houston. The investigation further revealed that Camacho-Goicochea allegedly coordinated the collection and return of drug proceeds from the United States back to Mexico. In early 2017, agents seized over $580,000 in drug proceeds from vehicles and homes in the Atlanta area, which were ultimately destined for the cartel in Mexico.”

The off-the-cuff policy pronouncement has been the source of much angst across the MAGAverse, with Luciferase lady Emerald Robinson declaring “Team Trump is making serious mistakes before the election: this is a terrible idea.” Even the fat fuck’s campaign themselves were forced to backtrack, with spokesclown Karoline Leavitt doing damage control by telling Reuters such a plan would only apply to those who have been “vetted.”

Dilley’s coping strategy however is the smarter one though: Even if their Orange Allah is compromising on their “principles” and “selling them out,” it’s still better than “losing their country.”

A swarm of kamikaze drones launched from Ukraine hit four major Russian oil refineries on Friday in yet another escalation of Kyiv’s offensive against Putin’s precious black gold, Reuters reports.

Ukrainian military command wrote on Telegram that drones had “attacked the Afipsky, Ilsky, Krasnodar, and Astrakhan oil refineries,” with a source in Kyiv telling Reuters that those facilities were targeted for their role in supplying fuel for Russia’s Black Sea fleet. “The damage of these refineries will significantly complicate the logistics of fuel oil supply, making it more expensive and time-consuming, as it will have to be delivered from other refineries,” the source said.

This is an example of totally normal political campaign messaging to voters. Every candidate’s team does this, calling a journalist who conducted at least six multi-hour interviews with their principal “full of shit” and threatening to release more audio recorded on their side in response to other audio strongly indicates that the candidate is rapidly deteriorating mentally. Lots of campaign communications professionals put “pro wrestling historian” in their social media profiles too.

Really it’s just regular, every day stuff in American politics. This is how you appeal to voters outside your base and maintain loyalty among those already in it. It’s a well-worn playbook and we could probably keep going with these platitudes for a while but the point’s already been made.

You will not be shocked to learn that MAGA darling Argentinian President Javier Milei, who swept into office last year as an “outsider” crusading against “swampy” corruption and political elites, has nominated for an open seat on the South American country’s Supreme Court a judge described by the AP as having “been accused of conspiracy, money laundering and illicit enrichment, and has come under scrutiny for more ethics violations than almost any other judge in his court’s history.”

Among 55 year-old jurist Ariel Lijo’s greatest hits are a 2018 case in which he and his brother, millionaire Alfredo Lijo, were accused of selling favors to other corrupt businessmen in the form of jamming up prosecutions, with the country’s top anti-money laundering watchdog having found an “inexplicable increase” in the brothers’ assets, only for the case to be dropped in 2021 after a successful motion to dismiss from Judge Lijo’s then-defense lawyer, Mariano Cúneo Libarona.

Funny story: Cúneo Libarona is now Argentina’s Justice Minister, appointed by Milei last December.

Only one of the 46 people arrested after New York City Police used a show of excessive force to storm a Columbia University building occupied by pro-Palestinian protesters remains charged, NBC News reports, and that individual is being held on previously filed charges.

The DA’s office told 31 of the people arrested at Hamilton Hall on the downtown campus that no charges would be filed against them.  Another 14 were told any potential charges would be dropped if they aren’t arrested for the next six months.

The final remaining detainee, James Carlson, was being held on other charges, including stealing and burning an Israeli flag he had taken from an opposition protestor.  Like a dozen others of those arrested, Carlson has no known connection to Columbia University.

One-time presidential candidate, non-indicted former Republican mayor of New York, and man Ron DeSantis looks up to Michael Bloomberg announced nearly $20 million in contributions to Biden-affiliated funds dedicated to the President’s reelection, the Washington Post reports.

Bloomberg wrote a $929,600 check to the Biden Victory Fund and gave another $19 million to the Biden-affiliated Future Forward PAC.  “I stood with Joe Biden in 2020, and I am proud to do so again,” Bloomberg said.

On June 20th, 2020 then-President Trump was worried about his reelection prospects. Lagging in the polls behind Democratic presidential nominee and then-former Vice President Joe Biden, and his signature MAGA rallies on hold for months due to the nationwide COVID-19 pandemic, Trump was dying to get back on the campaign trail. For whatever reason Trump and his campaign chose Tulsa – maybe due to the relative lack of local COVID-19 restrictions, that a deep Red State would guarantee a large crowd as opposed to a swing state, deliberate trolling because it was the site of one of the deadliest racial pogroms in American history 99 years earlier that month, or some combination thereof – and set it for June 19th, later pushing it back a day as to (pretend to) respect Juneteenth.

The Trump campaign and their fanboys were elated that he was hitting the road again. Better yet, they got over a million requests for tickets, so much so they made plans for a double indoor-outdoor rally at the Bank of Oklahoma arena in Tulsa. The MAGA trolls were SO freaking excited.

Frequently referred to as the Senate’s most hated member, podcaster Ted Cruz (R-Quintana Roo) continues to mount up the questionable contributions to his Super PAC, called the Truth & Courage PAC, from the distributor of his podcast which claims it doesn’t pay Cruz for his podcast, the Daily Beast reports.

This is wrong on a lot of levels.  First, candidates like podcaster Td Cruz cannot directly solicit funds for their Super PACs–they’re supposed to act independently–so why podcaster Ted Cruz’s podcast distributor, iHeartMedia, gave more than $150,000 to podcaster Ted Cruz’s Truth & Courage PAC in May, adding to the $786,000 the distributor paid the podcaster in salary contributed to the politician’s PAC.

The bigger problem for Cruz is that Senators are limited to earning $30,000 per year in outside income from “second jobs;” no one wants Senators moonlighting.  Unreported outside income or trying to sneak around Senate rules could earn Cruz another Ethics Committee investigation.

KSDK St Louis reporter Mark Maxwell on Saturday revealed that convicted felon former President Trump’s 2024 campaign is vetting questions from local media outlets, warning reporters to avoid inquiries regarding the 2020 election or otherwise face banishment, Heartland Signal reports.

“They’re saying ‘look, if you play nice we might give you some airtime. You’ll feel real important, you can talk to the former president, put him on your airwaves, but if you ask about the 2020 election, you’re out,’ That’s bogus, we’re not gonna play ball like that. I mean that’s not how this works, you don’t get to screen our questions,” Maxwell told WCPT 820 AM, adding “But for as much as they bluster about 2020 being stolen, they’re very sensitive to it. They don’t like the topic.”

Kind of hard to blame them considering that the fat fuck still thinks he won the 2020 election and asking him about it threatens to remind voters why he actually suffered a humiliating defeat.

A 38 year-old Ohio man was struck and critically injured by a roller coaster train at the King’s Island theme park in Mason on Wednesday night after having entered a restricted area to retrieve an unspecified personal item he had dropped while on the towering steel thrill ride, WCPO reports.

The ride’s called “The Banshee” so one would think that there would be some kind of screaming effect while the train is moving. Or at the very least he should have heard the riders screaming while being thrashed about. Then again a person riding at the front of the train told another witness it sounded like they’d hit a deer. If riders can hear that then maybe the Banshee just isn’t that loud.

The URL “TrumpBurgum.com” redirects to DonaldJTrump.com, Newsweek reported on Thursday indicating that the convicted felon has already picked North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum to serve as his running mate as he tries to return to the White House. While anyone can register such a domain for eight bucks or so and set it to automatically redirect to any URL they want, and plenty of other Trump plus name of potential running mate combos have been bought up, Newsweek notes that only TrumpBurgum.com… and TrumpPence.com… redirect to DonaldJTrump.com.

The others just say “Domain for sale.” TrumpBurgum.com was bought up on September 28, 2023, per the info page on Whoisology. The registration is private, listing its address as Kalkofnsvegur 2, 101 Reykjavik, Iceland – the exact same spot at which NationalZero.com is registered. Ruh-roh.
