Colbert rushes to studio to record new Friday episode

Stephen Colbert rushed to his studio today to record a new episode of “A Late Show” for a Friday broadcast as information developed with President Trump’s coronavirus infection, The Wrap reports via Yahoo News.

Since the coronavirus pandemic hit the United States and late night television shows started recording shows remotely–only recently returning to their studios, but with no live audiences–“A Late Show” has run reruns on Friday nights.

Instead, Colbert will interview guests CBS Chief Medical Correspondent Dr. Jon LaPook and “60 Minutes” contributor John Dickerson to discuss the coronavirus emergency at the White House.
