💬@ZelenskyyUa:
We have strong, kind and die-hard people. Once again, I was convinced in this during a conversation at the center for the provision of humanitarian assistance in Bucha. pic.twitter.com/cioHhfhYMA— Defense of Ukraine (@DefenceU) April 4, 2022
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of a “non-civilized” response to the brutality of the Russian assault on his country Monday as he toured the town of Bucha, site of a horrific weekend massacre of civilians by Putin’s troops CNN reports. Zelensky told reporters present it was crucial they were on hand to witness the aftermath of the rampage, saying “We want you to show the world what happened here. What the Russian military did. What the Russian Federation did in peaceful Ukraine. It was important for you to see that these were civilians.”
“We are going to put maximum pressure. We shall not pause for one minute to find all the criminals and I think this will benefit civilization,” said Zelensky, adding ominously that “if we don’t find a civilized solution, [the Ukranian people] will find a non-civilized solution.”
