A large group of mostly peaceful tourists on Saturday took selfies and wandered around the Sri Lankan presidential palace in the nation’s capital city of Colombo, Fox News reports. It was a really festive atmosphere and yeah, maybe there were some bad apples, but these were mostly good people who were really upset over President Rajapaksa’s economic policies. They feel like their country is being taken away from them. They have economic angst and they want to engage in legitimate political discourse. And the real insurrection was when Sleepy Gotabaya Rajapaksa pissed away all of Sri Lanka’s foreign currency reserves. Rajapaksanflation is out of control. That country is going to hell and this is what happens when people get angry.
