Deputies with the Hampden County Sheriff’s Department in Massachusetts got their asses stung when a beekeeper who didn’t take too kindly to the eviction notice they were there to serve sicced a swarm of her angry yellow babies on them on October 12th, the AP reports.
Rorie Woods, 55, of Hadley, Massachusetts, pleaded not guilty at her arraignment on facing multiple assault and battery charges after she, wearing a beekeepers suit, opened the door her beehive trailer parked in the driveway of the Longmeadow home and shook the beehives, agitating them to attack the cops. It’s not clear from the report why Woods, who doesn’t live at the address where they were evicting the occupant, would attack the cops. When told that several of the officers were allergic, Woods reportedly said “Oh, you’re allergic? Good!” Woods was eventually cuffed, but not before several of the officers were stung, one of whom required hospitalization.
