California QAnon freak and would-be Nancy Pelosi assassin David DePape on Tuesday pleaded not guilty to the state-level charges against him in the brutal Friday attack on the Speaker’s husband Paul Pelosi ABC affiliate KGO reports. A judge then ordered DePape held without bail.
DePape was in jail while attorney Adam Lipson entered the plea on his behalf on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, elder abuse, residential burglary, false imprisonment and threatening the life or serious bodily harm to a public official. DePape also faces federal charges of one count of assault of an immediate family member of a United States official with the intent to retaliate against the official on account of the performance of official duties, which carries a maximum sentence and one count of attempted kidnapping of a United States official on account of the performance of official duties. So in legal terms he’s pretty fucked.
