Trump-endorsed far right QAnon freak Michigan Secretary of State candidate Kristina Karamo’s campaign last week sued to block the counting of tens of thousands absentee ballots sent from voters in Detroit, citing “issues” with drop boxes and signature verification, Bridge Michigan reports. As of last week, 35,629 voters in Detroit had already voted by absentee ballot, while another 42,934 voters had requested ballots but not returned them yet. Karamo also seeks to block officials from using the Huntington Place convention hall in Downtown Detroit as a counting center, probably because the MAGA assholes freaked out there in 2020 over a supposed lack of observer access.
Separately, Vice News dug up a November 2020 interview on some right wing website in which Karamo claimed “If you go to the Satanic temple website, they have an entire five-minute video explaining why abortion is a religious ritual, They literally say that it is a sacrifice, it is a religious ritual for them to have an abortion, it is sick. And as you mentioned, the baby body parts… they sell the organs. There’s a ton of money involved in freshly harvested organs. There’s so much evidence out there,” Karamo said, even as she has since tried to distance herself from QAnon bullshit.
