A Michigan MAGA terrorist was arrested this week after leaving a threatening note to a landscaper who moved their signs – one of which was a “Trump Pence” sign with “Vance” handwritten on a piece of tape over “Pence” – from the roadside of a vacant commercial property, ABC 12 reports.
Saginaw landscaper Tom Roy, who the article mentions is Republican himself, hadn’t even thrown out the signs lining the edge of the former Sears store his firm is contracted to maintain, he simply leaned them up on the side of a utility box so the owner could come back and collect them. When Roy returned on Sunday to continue working the property he found the signs had been put back in place, also noticing a handwritten note taped to a nearby lamppost that said, per Roy, “a threat that they are in the far distance with a camera with a 9mm gun, so I got a little worried because it was very specific,” and calling him a “lame Democrat” for moving the pro-Republican signs.
Roy said he then called the police, who confiscated the signs as their placement was in violation of municipal code. Later, an unnamed 50 year-old Saginaw man also called the cops to complain that his signs had been stolen – which led to him admitting that he had written the note and being booked into the county jail on a threat of terrorism charge. The “9mm” turned out to be a BB gun.
