Aleksei Smirnov, acting governor of Russia Kursk region on Wednesday declared a state of emergency as Ukrainian forces surged across the border and seized control of a major natural gas junction in the town of Sudzha, about five miles inside the Russian Federation, CNN reports.
Dictator Vladimir Putin called the offensive a “large-scale provocation,” saying Kyiv’s troops are conducting “indiscriminate shooting from various types of weapons, including missiles, at civilian buildings, residential buildings, and ambulances,” which sounds like bullshit from a wounded ego.
