Is this legal???” and “Google trying to rig the Election!” because on Tuesday Axios reported that Team Harris is buying up certain search results for news stories and making some edits to their headlines (but still linking to the articles). It’s kind of complex and zero chance Trump actually understands it, but it’s a very light shade of ethical grey. Certainly the kind of thing that you’d roll your eyes at and say “Of course they fucking would” but not get all that worked up over if it were the Trump campaign doing it. Probably why it’s making Trump upset that his minions didn’t think of it first.
