Officials with the Arizona Attorney General’s office have asked the Justice Department to open a investigation into the finances of “True The Vote,” a sham “election integrity” group MAGA famous for its work on the “2000 Mules” film by dipshit Dinesh D’Souza, Politico reports.
“Given TTV’s status as a nonprofit organization, it would appear that further review of its financials may be warranted,” wrote Arizona AG’s office investigator Reggie Grigsby to the Justice Department, describing meetings with TTV founders Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips, who met three times with Arizona officials promising “proof” of massive voter fraud in the 2020 election, proof that of course never materialized. The apparent criminal referral is all the more noteworthy because Arizona AG Mark Brnovich spent his failed GOP Senate primary campaign paying lip service to “election integrity,” issuing several reports on his office’s investigation into the 2020 election. None of these described anything remotely close to what Trump and his fans wanted to hear, which is probably the main reason why Donald went out of his way to tell MAGArizonans not to vote for Brnovich in the primary months before he endorsed Reptilian humanoid Blake Masters.
