Cassidy Hutchinson, the former aide to former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows who infused some colorful details into the January 6th House Select Committee televised hearings, will testify before the Fulton County, Georgia grand jury investigating Donald Trump’s tampering in the 2020 election, CNN reports.
The grand jury is investigating attempts by Trump and his minions to overturn the certified results, which put Joe Biden on top of the electoral count by more than 11,000 votes. Central to the investigation is an hour-long call Trump and others had with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger in which Trump cajoled the Georgians to “to find 11,780 votes,” enough to give him the fake victory by one vote.
