Police in Berea, Ohio responded last week to a call at the Subway location on West Bagley Road after a woman wearing an Arby’s hat became irate and began issuing threats over having to wait for a worker to sell her a cookie while he was busy serving another customer, Cleveland.com reports.
While there’s currently no indication the incident was anything more than the work of a Pro-Arby’s “lone wolf,” rather than one sanctioned by leadership of a rival fast-food chain, before the woman had ominously warned she would return with her “dudes,” possibly referring to a squad of muscular, roast-beefy Arby’s employees prone to violence and destruction of property. Which would mean all-out war between Arby’s and Subway. More troubling is that the woman continued issuing threats over the phone for several days after her disruption. Police told workers to call if she returned.
