CNN’s Jake Tapper cut off the feed from White House advisor Peter Navarro after Navarro repeatedly refused to address President Trump’s dishonesty with the American people regarding the coronavirus.

Tapper questioned Navarro about the tapes released by Bob Woodward in which Trump bragged about “playing down” the dangers of coronavirus even though he knew how easily and how deadly the disease was.
After playing the audio of the exchange between Woodward and Trump, Tapper turned to Navarro to respond to Trump’s dishonesty. Navarro simply ignored Trump’s numerous lies. From HuffPost via Yahoo:
TAPPER: Why wasn’t the president straightforward with the American people?
NAVARRO: He was straightforward.
TAPPER: No, he wasn’t. … Just answer the question. It’s a very basic question. ... He was not honest with the American people. You’re not answering the question ―
NAVARRO: You’re wrong. You’re not honest with the American people. CNN is not honest with the American people. CNN ― you wanna go there?
TAPPER: I said you’re not answering the question. Here’s the thing. Thank you, Peter Navarro. We just played tape ― you didn’t answer the question.
